User feedback regarding incorrect or unhelpful AI responses should also be systematically captured to inform prompt revisions. Incorporating feedback loops strengthens the adaptive capacity of AI systems and aligns prompt evolution with real-world usage patterns.
Prototyping through language

Functional behavior should be tested before focusing on layout. Observing system behavior early reveals weak points before design layers can hide them.

Prompt failures act as structural tests. System failures are revealing moments. When AI outputs are off-topic, overly confident, or incorrect, the issue often traces back to incomplete prompt design, not the model itself.
Prompt failures are similar to usability problems: they highlight gaps in thinking, missing instructions, or misaligned expectations.
When an AI misinterprets a question, financial inquiry, or suggests something it shouldn’t, it’s often due to missing guardrails at the prompt level.
